This was taken on the "black road" in Pyle, it got it's name from when the Newlands and Cribbwr Fawr colleries were in production and the road was always black with coal dust, although they've both been closed for 40 plus years the name has stuck. I just loved the textures and the light on this evening and decided to shoot in black and white to accentuate them. 30th March 2009.Tuesday, 31 March 2009
