Surfers at Rest Bay, Porthcawl, South Wales. I was taking the dog for a walk on a cold and crisp Boxing day in 2008, the sun had just dipped below the horizon and the colours were just fantastic so out came the camera!

- I have always had an interest in photography, so in early 2008 I had a little windfall and splashed out on a SLR camera which along with my dog is my companion when out walking, all the shots apart from the Canada ones were taken when out walking. I've had no formal training in photography but I know what I like when I see it so I photograph it!
